How does it work?
When it comes to playing music on VLC, it plays more or less any file, and also features an equalizer and playlist creation. When compared to other media players such as iTunes for instance, VLC media player isn’t as intuitive when it comes to media management, but it’s much more flexible in terms of file formats. VLC can also be used to convert your files, and on top of all the formats and physical media it can play, it also supports numerous streaming protocols and TV capture cards.- What’s more you can add subtitles to your video files too!
User Interface (UI)
In terms of UI , VLC’s clean and simple layout makes it pretty easy to use and navigate through. You can quite simply drag and drop files that you want to play, or open them using files and folders and then use the classic navigation buttons to direct your desired action. As for visual aesthetics, VLC also has a wide variety of interesting skins and customization options to choose from.
With its flexibility, ease-of-use, and advanced options VLC makes for a useful and well suited multimedia application for both Mac and Windows devices.
