The X800 VE is an ATI/ AMD multimedia video card from the All-in-Wonder line of video cards that combine graphics card and a TV tuner on one single card, providing solutions for both PC gaming and video editing as well as a home theatre through TV viewing. It features useful video processing functions that lessen noise, and accelerate and de-interlace video playback in order to achieve better video quality.

A TV tuner card, such as the ALL-IN-WONDER X800 VE, is a kind of device that allows TV signals to be processed and displayed by the monitor of the computer. Almost all TV tuner cards come with video capture functions. These functions allow users to record shows for future viewing. More sophisticated ones such as the ALL-IN-WONDER X800 VE have combined graphic and tuner cards. Most of these devices are designed by ATI. Several variants of tuner cards require different system specifications. These include analog TV, Hybrid, combo and mobile TV. The first three mainly focus on the conversion of analog TV signals to digital TV display. As for Mobile TV, this is an external device attached to a phone to get TV signals and display images in TV resolution on the main LCD of the mobile phone.
