The AOC 9K+ is a 19-inch monitor with a recommended resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. It has a horizontal frequency of 95 kHz and a vertical frequency of 160 Hz. This monitor can be used for a wide variety of applications such as digital graphic design, photographic retouching and manipulation, spreadsheet management, image analysis, and viewing of video. Its 19-inch screen size is comparatively larger than the typical household monitor. With a weight of 44 pounds, this monitor is easily transferable from one location to another.

The cathode ray tube or CRT is a vacuum tube containing an electron tube. The first computer monitors used CRTs. The monitors were monochrome, the images flickered and the quality was poor. Then IBM invented the Color Graphics Adapter. These were in a resolution of 320 by 200, in color. Later on, they introduced the Enhanced Graphics Adapter, which had a resolution of 640 by 350 and had sixteen different colors. The CRT has a large evacuated glass envelope that's fairly heavy and relatively fragile. As a matter of safety, the face is typically made of thick lead glass, which is highly shatter-resistant and ready to block most X-ray emissions. There are still homes and offices that use CRT monitors like the AOC 9K+, refusing to switch to LCDs and TFT LCD monitors.
