The Canon CP-330 is a compact photo printer that adds a battery pack to the CP-220.It uses dye sublimation to print photographs in 4x6 and 4x8 inches as well as full-sheet and mini labels. Dye-sublimation uses thermal printing heads to vaporize dye from a cellophane ribbon to the printing paper. Each print goes through 4 passes; 3 for each colour Cyan, Magenta and Yellow and the final pass covers the photograph in an overcoat layer making the picture heat and water proof
