The HP Deskjet F300 Series offers multiple functions with its ability to print, scan and copy. Black printouts are produced at up to 600x600 dpi, while color prints are made at up to 4800x1200 optimized dpi. It uses drop-on-demand thermal inkjet technology. Its scanning capabilities are made stronger through the Integrated Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software that automatically converts scanned text into text that can be edited. It can also accommodate different kinds of paper depending on the need, including photo paper and premium paper.

The HP Deskjet F370 All in One Printer uses drop-on-demand thermal inkjet technology. This means that it uses cartridges that have chambers containing heaters, with these heaters vaporizing the ink to form bubbles. These bubbles then project drops of ink onto the paper. This is the reason that other, similar printers are called bubble jet printers. This should not be confused with the technology used for thermal printers, though, as those heat the actual paper being used to produce images.
