The HP Color LaserJet CP1210 printer series grabs attention with its vibrant prints, which have a realistic look to them. Although some use it loosely as a common noun, LaserJet is actually a proprietary name that belongs to the line of dry electro-photographic laser printers (also known as DEP printers) by the American company Hewlett-Packard. Hewlett-Packard's LaserJet was the first desktop printer using laser technology. The HP DEPs are actually dependent on technology from Canon, a Japanese company that also has a printer line.
