DMI, short for Digital Media Interface links Intel Nothbridge chipsets with Intel Southbridge chipsets. First introduced in 2004 the north and south _bridge chipsets have formed part of the core logic chipset on a mainboard and have since had their functions moved to the CPU itself. The original DMI Interface offers 10 Gbps with DMI2.0 upping this to 20Gbps effectively doubling the available bandwidth.

Speaking of microprocessors, a lot are actually turning to the Intel Core i7-2600K. The advent of low cost computers as well as the continued production of heavy duty processors especially from Intel allowed large numbers of PC, server, and laptop users to actually communicate effectively over the Internet, enjoy multimedia display, experience business growth, and the like. More and more microprocessors are being produced today, including the Intel Core i7-2600K, providing a great variety of options for efficient digital control of different electronic devices.
