NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache(TM)

The NVIDIA GeForce 6500 and 6200 Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) feature NVIDIA TurboCache technology for turbocharged PC performance, the NVIDIA PureVideo technology for vibrant and crisp video viewing, and a turbocache. These GPUs from Nvidia support up to 256 MB configurations and are compatible with almost all DirectX 9 applications. The NVIDIA GeForce 6500 and 6200 GPUs deliver GeForce 6 Series performance and are the only Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0c Shader Model 3.0 graphics processing units in their class.

NVIDIA's TurboCache technology is featured in almost all graphics processing units by Nvidia. This technology was developed to provide users better gaming performance at a low cost. It aims to work well with integrated graphics and has the ability to improve three dimensional quality in games. The first Turbocache was introduced in Nvidia’s GeForce 6200 and eventually included in the succeeding GPUs. While most users have found Turbocache technology very effective, some users of this setup have disabled turbocache on their units.
