Description:

The design of NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X is based on the proprietary Lightspeed Memory Architecture 2 (abbreviated as LMA II) technology. The card sports 128-bit DDR memory interface, along with 64 MB of onboard memory. It features a memory bandwidth of 8 GB/sec, which allows processing of complex graphical elements. Two DACs integrated in the GPU, each running at 350 MHz clock speed, are capable of running two separate display units, each at 2048 x 1536 resolution and refresh rate of 75 Hz. The product offers out of the box support for NVIDIA Accuview Anti-Aliasing (AA) graphics processing subsystem, NVIDIA nFiniteFX II Engine, and NVIDIA nView Desktop Management Software.

The product supports the proprietary Accuview Anti-Aliasing (AA) graphics subsystem developed by NVIDIA, which allows users to run every application and game with anti-aliasing (as well as high resolution) enabled by default, without any noticeable degradation in system performance. This results in considerable reduction in the jagged textures that are often visible on screen when running games, as well as some software applications, without any AA. Accuview subsystem also supports anisotropic filtering, which helps in properly displaying the depth of 3D objects,and when combined with Bi-linear and Tri-linear filtering, improves the quality of images and videos being displayed, to a considerable extent.
