Description:

The NVIDIA Quadro FX 580 graphics card provides 30-bit color fidelity that enables billions of color variations for quality image display. The card is compatible with x86 32/64-bit microprocessor architecture and works perfectly with operating systems like Windows Vista (32 or 64-bit version). It features full-scene anti-aliasing (FSAA) technology that reduces visual aliasing on images displayed to help the users get smoother and more realistic visuals. Like many other cards from the NVIDIA stable, this one too provides support for NVIDIA CUDA architecture and boasts of 32 CUDA cores. It is Energy Star compliant, requiring a maximum of 40W of power to run.

One of the prominent features of the card is compliance with NVIDIA ACE or Application Configuration Engine. Simply put, this engine automatically adjusts the graphics setting of whatever application is running to provide the best performance possible, without any manual adjustment necessary. Even if two or more ACE-supported applications run at the same time, the engine will detect and apply the proper profile to each. For applications that don't support ACE, a global or user-modified profile will be applied. In addition to ACE, the card features Microsoft DirectX 10 and OpenGL 3.0 support so that users can run all the games and applications that use these globally recognized APIs.
