OKI C830 (PCL)

OKI C830(PCL) printer has been designed to handle heavy workloads, with a 700 MHz processor and 256 MB of onboard memory (which can be extended up to 768 MB) to handle long print queues. The main paper tray provided with the device has a capacity of 300 sheets of 80gsm paper (of sizes A3, A4, A5, A6, B4, and B5). The printer can carry out print jobs at a maximum resolution of 600 x 1200 DPI on a wide variety of paper types. It can be connected to network routers or even directly with computers via Ethernet connection or USB cable.

The device offers Duplex Printing functionality, which refers to the technology used to print on both sides of the same sheet of paper at the same time. Many heavy duty printers and multi-function devices have two separate print engines built into those, and consequently can offer this functionality. When a multi-page document is printed using one such device, the text for two consecutive pages are ?created? on the two print drums. When the printing is being carried out, the paper is charged on both sides by the two drums, and heated to finish both print jobs within the time the paper takes to pass through the device a single time. This saves time for the users, by allowing them to carry out large printing jobs quickly.
