The RME HDSP AES-32 is a short-length PCI card featuring 16 input and 16 output channels, ‘Steady Clock’ for higher jitter suppression and clock regeneration, a 192 kHz sample rate, two MIDI I/O ports, and an RME remote. This audio card is a good fit for professionals looking for a PCI card for professional studio usage. The RME HDSP AES-32 also features native support for double and quad wire transfer and a software suite among other features.

The process of multitrack recording or mutitracking was actually conceived in 1955 with the first development of an 8-track machine in the same year by Ross Snyder. This first 8-track recorder was sold at $10,000 and was adapted by Patti Page and Mary Ford at some time in the 1950s for instruments and vocal enhancement. By the year 2000, a large number of performers had already recorded their albums only through the use of a personal computer and other audio interfaces.
