The Creatix SAA7131 Hybrid Capture Device Update applies to CTX948 V.1 4 in 1 TV-Tuner Card, which is compatible with PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) version 2.2 and DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control) version 1.0. Some of the prominent features of this product are three stand-by mode options, one sleep-mode option, low symmetrical output (IF), and in-built oscillators without any external component. This product offers conversion demodulation (direct) for Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK), Phase-shift keying (PSK) at zero IF, a frequency range of 950 to 2175 MHz, high AGC (Automatic Gain Control) linearity, and low noise radio frequency input.

As the product offers low IF (intermediate frequency) output (symmetrical), it helps to establish direct connection to IF demodulator or Video decoder as well as IF demodulator (SAA7131). Its crystal oscillator buffer (output) at 16 MHz helps in driving the IF demodulator as well as decoder (digital). The intermediate frequency demodulator is a kind of alignment-free multi-standard sound and vision (digital) low intermediate frequency signal phase-locked loop (PLL) demodulator that facilitates + ve and ? ve video modulation.
