Description:

The Cherry SmartTerminal ST-1044U is a USB smart card reader (PS/SC) that is able to read and write nearly all ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 7816 compliant cards. The base is heavier than the rest of the product in order to ensure that the device does not slip even when being used with only one hand. As far as storage and operating temperatures are concerned, the device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius and works fine in temperatures ranging from 0 degree Celsius to 50 degree Celsius. The product is also quite small in size, being about 75 mm at its thickest.
