The TASCAM US-144mkII builds on the successful formula of the US-122mkII, adding another volume control and S/PDIF digital In/Out increasing the channel count to 4.Housed in a compact aluminium construction, this USB-powered DAW is a cost-effective and highly portable solution to your USB audio interface requirements. 2 XLR microphone preamps compliment this build with phantom power specifically designed for condenser microphones eliminating even more clutter in space-restricted environments.
The US-144 mkII comes bundled with Steinberg Cubase LE4; a fully-featured recording software capable of 48-track audio capture and another 64 MIDI tracks. Cubase LE4 also supports VST effects and instruments plug-ins with a variety added in with the included version.
