The ThinkPad T41 Notebook uses a 1.6GHz Pentium M processor, with 512MB of DDR266 SDRAM and a hard drive of 40GB. It uses a 32MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 video card with a multipurpose bay with DVD-ROM and CD-RW combo drive. Its keyboard is easy to use with the return, backspace and right hand shift key enlarged, and the directional keys dropped and set away from the main keyboard. The trackpoint is also very responsive, with the ability to let you roam the page without lifting your fingers, unlike on a touchpad.

The IBM ThinkPad T41 Notebook has a 14.1-inch display that uses liquid crystal display technology, more popularly known as LCD. Liquid crystals do not emit light directly, but they modulate the light to form the display. LCDs are definitely more convenient to use compared to cathode ray tubes or CRTs. They are more energy efficient, and also save a lot of space. LCDs are not only used as computer monitors, but as television sets, instrument panels, signage, and a lot more.
