U.S. Robotics 56K Voice PCI

The 3Com U.S. Robotics 56K Voice Internal PCI is an internal modem that supports a V.90 56 Kb/sec ITU standard. The product has data protocols of 33,600 ? 300 bps at V.34, V.32, V.32 bis, V.23, V.21, V.22 and V.22 bis ITU standards. It has V.80 video conferencing compatibility allowing users to enjoy high speed video conferencing without fuzziness or stutter. The product supports personal voice messaging as well. The full duplex speakerphone is designed for hands free usage and has in-built echo cancelation features, providing crystal clear voice quality to listeners at both ends. The device requires a powered speaker or sound card and an audio cable to support the speakerphone feature.

The modem features V.42 and MNP 2 to 4 error correction and supports V.42 bis/MNP 5 compression. It can be installed and configured easily as it supports plug and play and is compatible with Windows XP 32-bit and Windows Vista 32-bit OSs. It supports voicemail systems with multiple mailbox functionality. The product belongs to Faxing Class 1 and Class 2 Group III. With V.17, V.29, V.27 ITU standards, and can send fax messages at speeds of up to 14.4 Kb/sec. It also provides professional laser print quality faxes from the desktop computer that can be sent to multiple fax addresses as smoothly as they can be sent to a single destination.
