The VX922 is a 5:4 aspect ratio TFT LCD with multiple awards behind its bezel. It has a contrast ratio of 650:1 with brightness reaching 240 cd/m2 and a light source life of 40,000 hours. The Super eXtended Graphics Array (SXGA) standard refers to the 1280x1024 native resolution on 5:4 aspect ratio monitors. Aspect ratio is the ratio of an images width to its height. Cd/m2 is the International System of Units standard for measuring luminance. Cd stands for candela, the base unit of luminous intensity and m2 is square meter. This is sometimes also referred to as Nit where 1Nit is 1 Cd/m2.
