The ATI Radeon 9200 is powered by a Quad-pipe technology that has four rendering pipelines, giving a pixel processing power best for 3D applications. It has SmoothVision as well for sharper and clearer textures without sacrificing frame rates and FullStream for smoother-looking and higher quality Internet streaming while still being light on your CPU load. It has up to 256MB of powerful double data rate memory and supports 3D resolutions of up to 2048×1536.
The ATI Radeon 9200 is part of the Radeon series by Advanced Micro Devices, more popularly known as AMD, and launched by ATI Technologies. Its four different groups are most easily distinguished from each other by identifying which DirectX is supported by each one. The old branding for the series was replaced by the new one in late 2010, although the older devices naturally retained their branding.
