Description
This latest patch for Lord of the Rings - War of the Ring features improved gameplay and fixes a number of bugs including:
  • Fixed CD Key Authentication for GameSpy games.

  • Fixed a crash bug with settings button and gamespy arcade host.

  • Fixed a bug with multiplayer games that didn't allow handicapping.
  • Fixed a desync bug in multiplayer games with AI players.

  • Exiting the staging room when launched from Arcade now returns to the multiplayer selection menu, instead of the LAN lobby.

  • Added new in-game message system.

  • Objective screen now has tooltips.

  • Added Awards page on the end game stats screen.

  • Added portraits for Giant Ent/Balrog with lifetime bar.

  • Fixed a bug with particle effects not showing up on detected units.

  • Fixed a bug with allied invisible units not appearing on the minimap.

  • Fixed a bug with Elven Temple place of power not updating health for allied units.

  • Optimizations were added that should improve performance on the single player missions in Mirkwood.
