According to Adobe it can also be used with non-PIII processors without problems. Photoshop must be up to version 5.02 before this patch can be installed. It will replace existing plug-ins of the same names installed with Photoshop 5.02 and has three components: Application enhancements for Pentium III systems, as well as all existing enhancements for other Pentium-class systems (MMXCore.8bx) Existing Lighting Effects plug-in, with additional enhancements for Pentium III systems (LightingEffects.8bf) Wind plug-in with additional enhancements for Pentium III systems (Wind.8bf) Use an unzipping tool to view the readme.txt included in the package for important installation instructions.
