What to do if File Recovery doesn't get back your files

File recovery can be a complicated process. We found that the free program File Recovery 4 can get back most files that are recoverable. However, on some rare occasions, other programs may be able do the job in the few cases where File Recovery doesn't work. The catch? Unfortunately the software is not free. Typically it is about $US30-40. However, the good news is that, before you have to pay, the software will let you know if it can get back your files. We know it would be better if the free software could do it all - but alas, not every program is perfect. We have even found many instances where paid software is not as good as File Recovery 4. Out of the software we tested, we found one program that works well as alternative: Data Recovery Pro.
