The setup program will install version 4.7 of the driver onto Windows 98 or 2000. The driver features support for DOS mode and the MPU-401 emulator uses WSS mode for output, so select SB16 mode as wave (voice) output device. The SB16 & WSS are used to perform full-duplex functions, but some applications will detect the sound card as not being full-duplex.To get around this problem, set the playback device to 'Sound System Playback' and the record device to 'SB16 Record' (it's listed under 'Multimedia' in the Control Panel).
