It installs version 1.1 of the HP WIA driver for Vista, but this comes at a price. According to HP: 'This is the minimum driver required for basic WIA functionality. This driver enables scanning with the Windows Photo Gallery on Windows Vista.' In other words, most of the features that you had from your installation CD will no longer work under Vista.
