Description

This JumpDrive driver package for the Lexar USB JumpDrive, Pro, Secure, Sport, Elite and Photo is needed only for Windows 98. Windows Me, 2000 and XP already have the driver (if you are having trouble using the drive on these systems, then it is likely to be a conflict or problem in Windows - see the Windows Device Manager and Windows Help file for details).

After you download the JumpDrive driver package, follow these steps.

Unzip the "JDUSB2.exe" to "c:\jdusb2"
Plug the JumpDrive into the USB Port
When the “Add New Hardware Wizard” screen appears choose "Next"
Leave the option "Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)” selected and then choose "Next"
Make sure "Specify a location" is checked and in the box type in "C:\jdusb2" and choose "Next."
When the driver is found, choose "Next"
Choose "Finish" when the drive is done.
Another "New hardware found" box will appear and the “Lexar Mass Storage Flash Device” will install. You will not be prompted for any action.
When that is finished, the JumpDrive will now be accessible in "My computer" as a "Removable Disk"
