The SONY VAIO PCG-FRV26 uses the ATI RADEON IGP 345M as its 3D accelerator, integrating it with the notebook?s 64MB of VRAM. The VAIO PCG-FRV26 displays images at 1024×768 pixels on its 15? display using TFT display technology. It also has an integrated sound card SB with built-in speakers and microphone for good audio communication. It uses the Intel Pentium 4 processor and has an internal memory of 512MB, which can be expanded to 1024MB with a 40GB hard drive capacity.

ATI technologies is a semiconductor technology corporation that was acquired by Advanced Micro Devices, more commonly known as AMD, in 2006. It remains to be one of two main sources of graphics processors, competing with its rival Nvidia for top ranking. Most of their products still used the brand ATI until recently, when it was removed in 2010 and was replaced with the AMD brand name.
